Have you heard of Taginis Pebble Beach yet? It’s a beautiful beach located in Magdagooc,Jabonga, Agusan Del Norte. The town of Magdagooc is known for its long shoreline of white stone, clear beaches, and mesmerizing sunsets. Taginis Pebble Beach has everything you need for a memorable vacation destination.

Since not many are familiar with Taginis Pebble Beach, the attraction is still very available for us to visit for free. It is also a very serene place to relax without being bothered by hundreds of others waiting for their turn for a picture-perfect selfie.

Jabonga now has something new to offer to its local and foreign tourists, and that is that what they called the hidden paradise, “Taginis Pebble Beach” located at Brgy. Magdagooc, Jabonga Agusan Del Norte.The picture above looks like I’ve seen it before in paintings. It looks like a hand-painted. Believe it or not, this sight exists in real life, and it’s here in our own motherland. There are still thousands of undeveloped and undiscovered wonders we have yet to see and this is just the beginning to uncovering them one by one.
HOW TO GET THERE!
From Butuan Bus Terminal, ride a bus bound to to Surigao. Drop off at Jabonga Bus Terminal (90.00 fare bus non aircon) (100.00 aircon bus) From Jabonga Bus Terminal, ride a single motor bound to Brgy Magdagooc. (150.00 one way, can ride 2 person, ask for a discount, can be as low as 120.00). Ask the driver to drop you off where you can ride a pump boat to Taginis pebble beach.
(The boat ride is just short, we were asked to pay for 600.00 but you can negotiate for as low as 500.00. The price is good for one boat, good for 5 - 10 person depending on how big your chartered boat is. ) You can see the destination already while riding the boat.
It's better if you negotiate with the motor driver to pick you up at your convenient time.
. Bring your own foods. There are small stores along the way but only snacks can be bought.
Dont forget to bring lots of drinking water.
THINGS TO DO IN TAGINIS
Swimming, snorkeling, and diving (bring your own equipment). Swim with the fish, no entrance fee as of the moment but I urge you to donate to the good caretakers.
WHERE TO STAY
You can camp at Taginis Beach Resort, bring your tent. Open cottages can also be rented for Php 400 (day use) or Php 500 (overnight).
WHERE TO EAT
Buy food in town before proceeding. You can buy fresh fish or meat at the market and grill it at the beach. Make sure to buy charcoal too.

BEST TIME TO VISIT
The best time to visit Taginis is between March to September. Of course, there could be rains as well but it’s not as frequent as between November to January.
